Another week, another game where the Buccaneers are going to be without some key players - mostly on defense, but the most important might come on the offensive side of the ball. Vita Vea, Antoine Winfield Jr., Calijah Kancey, Kameron Johnson, and Luke Goedeke are all out against the Broncos this week. That means Justin Skule, who struggled mightily against the Lions and Aiden Hutchinson last week, will get the start at right tackle again this week.
For the Broncos, they'll be without their own right tackle as Mike McGlinchey suffered an MCL sprain and is set to miss the next month. Frank Crum is expected to get the start for him. Denver will also be without safety J.L. Skinner and linebacker Baron Browning.
The Bucs called up defensive lineman C.J. Brewer to the active roster and elevated defensive lineman Mike Greene and wide receiver Sterling Shepard from the practice squad. This will be Shepard's first action with the Bucs this season.
Here are the inactive players for the Bucs ahead of their week three matchup;
DL - Vita Vea
S - Antoine Winfield Jr
WR - Kameron Johnson
OL - Luke Goedke
DL - Calijah Kancey
TE - Devin Culp
OLB - Jose Ramirez
The Bucs and Broncos kick off at Raymond James Stadium at 1:00 p.m. ET with the television broadcast on FOX. Tim Brando, Matt Millen, and Sarah Kustok will be on the call.
